Defining a Distinct Market Position in a Crowded Category

The Challenge

Private schools often use similar academic-focused messaging, making it hard for families to differentiate between options. While St. Victor had strong performance and community, its marketing lacked a clear, distinctive brand position.

The challenge was to create a compelling brand narrative and deliver it consistently across channels to engage prospective families in a competitive enrollment landscape.

What I Did

Led the end-to-end development and execution of the brand, from initial concept through market launch. Defined the brand positioning, value proposition, messaging architecture, and visual identity, creating a differentiated brand that resonated with a niche audience while establishing a scalable foundation for future growth.

Developed and executed an integrated go-to-market strategy that connected ecommerce, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, and experiential activations into a cohesive customer journey. Rather than treating each channel independently, I designed an omnichannel marketing ecosystem where every touchpoint reinforced the brand story and strengthened customer engagement.

Designed, launched, and optimized ecommerce storefronts on Shopify and Etsy, prioritizing user experience, conversion optimization, SEO, and brand storytelling. Built a content strategy spanning social media, email marketing, and product merchandising that consistently communicated the brand's mission while increasing visibility, engagement, and customer retention.

Identified and cultivated strategic influencer partnerships to expand brand awareness and build credibility within the target market. Simultaneously fostered a highly engaged community through both digital channels and in-person activations, creating authentic relationships that strengthened brand affinity, generated word-of-mouth marketing, and supported sustainable business growth.

As founder, I oversaw every aspect of the customer experience—from brand strategy and creative direction to marketing execution, ecommerce optimization, product launches, and community building—ensuring each decision contributed to a consistent, memorable, and purpose-driven brand.
